Sizing Guide
American Cream pieces may use blanks from different manufacturers. A size label can fit differently from one product to another, so there is no single universal American Cream size chart.
Use the chart for the exact product
When measurements are available, the individual product page is the source of truth for that item. Check the garment brand, cut, fabric, and notes in the listing. Do not assume a medium in one tee or hoodie will match a medium from another capsule.
How to measure
- Choose a similar garment you already own and like the fit of.
- Lay it flat without stretching it.
- Chest width: measure straight across from armpit seam to armpit seam.
- Body length: measure from the highest shoulder point beside the collar down to the bottom hem.
- Sleeve: follow the product chart’s stated method; some brands measure from the shoulder seam and others from the center back.
- Compare those flat-garment measurements with the chart on the product page. Double the chest width only if you want the approximate full circumference.
Fit and shrinkage
Fit words such as standard, relaxed, oversized, cropped, or heavyweight describe the intended silhouette but do not replace measurements. Cotton garments can change after washing. Follow the care label, wash cold when appropriate, and avoid high heat if minimizing shrinkage is important.
Between sizes?
If you prefer a roomier fit or your measurement falls between two sizes, sizing up is usually the safer choice. Because returned items must remain unworn, unwashed, and in original condition, compare measurements before removing packaging or laundering the garment. Contact us before ordering if a listing is missing the measurements you need.
